The competition is over!

Rules:                

Therupon, every registered participant will receive an email including a download link for the VRED Essentials Plus licence and the data set. Important: The VRED Essentials Plus license which will be limited in time for the duration of the competition. The email will provide all necessary information regarding the installation of VRED Essentials Plus.

The task is to create photorealistic image material. There are no specifications regarding layout and imagery style guidelines, the only condition is to only use VRED Essentials Plus and the provided dataset.

VRED Essentials Plus will be disposed in full functional range. The licence will end automatically on August 31, 2011.

We accept a maximum of 3 pictures p.p. The images have to be delivered in the maximum possible resolution (4000 x 2000 px) in a loss-free dataformat, such as tif or png. Postwork and compositing are permitted.

Deadline:             

The final deadline for handing in the pictures is August 31, 2011.

Participation rules:

In general everybody being 18 years and older is allowed to participate in the contest. The following parties are not permitted to participate: Employees of PI-VR GmbH as well as employees of other companies writing or selling 3D image generation software.

Winner:                 

Amongst all transmittals a total of three (3) winners will be selected  by a highly qualified jury that will be arranged by PI-VR. The winners will be awarded on September 22, 2011 at the IMPRESS3D event. They will also be announced on the PI-VR website, on the competition-website and the will be advised advised per email. Outstanding pictures regarding quality and photorealism will be awarded. Even if sending in more than one picture (though not more than three per person), every picture will be evaluated individually. It is not possible to win with more than one picture at the same time.
